Recognized internationally by Yoga Alliance USA, this 28-day intensive residential training transforms passionate practitioners into confident, certified, and spiritually grounded yoga teachers.

Curriculum Breakdown: What You Will Learn

Our curriculum balances practical asana mastery with deep theoretical philosophy and biomedical anatomy:

  • Asana Practice & Alignment: Daily morning Classical Hatha Yoga and evening Ashtanga Vinyasa Primary Series. Hands-on adjustments, prop utilization, and modifications for various body types.
  • Pranayama & Shatkarma: Six traditional yogic cleansing kriyas (Jala Neti, Sutra Neti, Kapalabhati, Nauli) and breath control techniques (Nadi Shodhana, Bhastrika, Ujjayi, Brahmari).
  • Yoga Philosophy & Ethics: In-depth study of Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, the Bhagavad Gita, the Eight Limbs of Ashtanga Yoga, and the ethical lifestyle of a modern yogi.
  • Anatomy & Biomechanics: Skeletal alignment, muscular function, fascial anatomy, injury prevention, and the physiological benefits of inversions and backbends.
  • Teaching Methodology & Practicum: Voice projection, class sequencing, student cues, thematic class planning, and student-teaching sessions.

A Typical Day in the Life

Discipline and early rising are central to the authentic ashram experience. Here is how your schedule unfolds:

  • 05:30 AM: Morning Wake-up Bell & Herbal Tea
  • 06:00 AM – 07:30 AM: Pranayama, Mantra Chanting & Meditation
  • 07:45 AM – 09:15 AM: Traditional Hatha Yoga Asana
  • 09:30 AM – 10:30 AM: Sattvic Vegetarian Breakfast
  • 10:45 AM – 12:00 PM: Yoga Philosophy & Darshan
  • 12:15 PM – 01:15 PM: Applied Anatomy & Physiology
  • 01:30 PM – 02:30 PM: Ayurvedic Lunch & Relaxation
  • 04:00 PM – 05:30 PM: Ashtanga Vinyasa Dynamic Flow
  • 05:45 PM – 07:00 PM: Alignment, Adjustment & Teaching Practicum
  • 07:15 PM – 08:15 PM: Wholesome Dinner
  • 08:30 PM – 09:30 PM: Self-study, Satsang, or Sound Healing

Assessment and Certification

Graduation requires active attendance, passing a written multiple-choice examination on philosophy and anatomy, and successfully leading a 60-minute practicum class assessed by senior faculty. Upon successful completion, you receive your official Yoga Alliance USA RYT-200 certificate, granting you legal teaching rights worldwide.

Prerequisites & Who Should Enroll

You do not need to be able to do advanced handstands to join. What we require is an open mind, a sincere yearning to learn, and readiness to embrace the structured discipline of ashram life. We welcome beginners with at least 3-6 months of consistent practice up to advanced practitioners wishing to teach.
